The Five

Characteristics of
Level Best Leadership

As part of a Level Best cohort, you will be given hundreds of insights and ideas on leadership. The core of that learning is designed around FIVE key words that ‘house’ Scott’s perspectives on leadership. Throughout the group cohort, as well as during your one on one interactions with Scott, these FIVE key words will provide focus and guidance to the conversation.

Here is a brief look
at what’s in store.

Buoyancy

You will learn how to absorb a crisis without losing your ‘shape’. You will also discover the important relationship between conflict and improvisation, and why poise is the most important trait in leadership.

Kinship

You will gain new insights for how to manage and direct your emotions when it comes to power, peers, and protégés. You will learn practical methods for (re)introducing love and affection into a performance-based culture.

Spanning

You will learn how to emotionally manage your own aging process as a leader. You will also begin to see the deeper secrets to longevity, and why convergence is the most important outcome in leadership.

Animation

You will learn how to invest in your own maturity and progress. You will discover the power of a 'disquiet' and what a ‘fully alive’ leader looks like. You will also learn how to protect your progress through retrospect and professional community.

Thirst

You will learn how to be grounded and galvanized by God’s plan for your life. You will also learn how to activate the ‘invisible driver’ of yearning, and why the sacred and the secular cannot be separated.
